Rural Senior Housing- Grantees
The Housing Assistance Council’s Rural Senior Housing Grant Initiative is made possible with generous support from The Atlantic Philanthropies. It is estimated that the senior population of the United States will increase from 40 million in 2010 to over 90 million by 2060. Organizations in rural areas need to be able to create housing options for this growing population. These grants, will allow nonprofit rural organizations throughout the U.S. to use funding for construction projects, build internal capacity, preserve affordable rental and homeownership properties, and strengthen advocacy efforts for affordable rural senior housing.
