Housing and Services for Rural Veterans: A Symposium
Join the Housing Assistance Council (HAC) for its annual symposium on Veteran housing issues. The symposium will focus on addressing critical needs around housing rehabilitation and modification, homeless mitigation strategies, and aging solutions for rural veterans. In addition, participants will hear from rural, small-town practitioners and gain helpful insight into practical program models that provide both rental and homeownership options.

Creating Sustainable and Affordable Housing: A Workshop on Green Building Principles
This two-day program will provide participants with practical and in-depth knowledge of green building principles and practices. The workshop covers a broad range of topics, including:
- green building basics
- constructing a sustainable house from the ground up
- incorporating sustainability design principles into your existing housing development program
- building energy efficient and healthy living environments
- cost-effective approaches to maintain affordability.
