Fostering Skilled Labor in Your Community

Join us for an engaging and informative 60-minute webinar that will delve into the critical topic of building a skilled labor force in your rural community. With a focus on empowering local talent, we will explore innovative strategies for recruiting, developing, and retaining skilled construction workers from your very own community. Our expert speaker, Earl Pfeiffer, brings decades of experience as a retired self-help housing program director in rural Florida, and he will share his insights and valuable tips for cultivating skilled talent in your area.

We will also highlight the National Association of Home Builders and its cutting-edge programs designed to foster skilled labor. From apprenticeships to certification programs, NAHB is a leading resource for building a robust and sustainable talent pool in your community. Additionally, our discussion will touch upon the exciting partnership between NAHB and SKILLSUSA, which provides students with hands-on training and education in the trades.

As an added bonus, we will explore how compliance with HUD’s Section 3 requirement can help to further your efforts in building a skilled labor force. You won’t want to miss this dynamic and inspiring webinar that promises to equip you with the tools and resources you need to empower your community with skilled labor.
