HAC is Hiring a Portfolio Management Intern

The Portfolio Management Intern is part of HAC’s lending team and will gain valuable work experience participating in projects that contribute to the success of the mission of our organization, while reporting to the Portfolio Manager- Self-Help Housing. The intern will have the opportunity to participate in the Fannie Mae Future Housing Leaders program throughout the summer. The position will be approximately 37.5 hours per week, with a stipend of $15-18 per hour commensurate with experience/responsibilities. Internship will run from the end of May through August 2023.

HAC is hiring a Loan Processor Associate

The Loan Processor Associate is an entry-level position and will assist in the overall loan portfolio management functions of the organization’s portfolio of loans made to entities engaged in affordable housing activities in rural communities throughout the United States. This individual will assist in a range of lending activities — including loan department reports, loan payments, loan closing, disbursement, various aspects of monitoring, and servicing single- and multi-family housing development loans — in the Loan Fund Division.

HAC Seeking Community Development Consultants

The Housing Assistance Council is seeking a few skilled consultants to support HAC’s capacity building initiatives. We will consider a variety of skill sets and expertise levels based on the identified needs of the beneficiary organizations. Consultants with highly focused skill sets, such as financial management, smart building, public facilities, homeless programs, or microenterprise are encouraged to apply.
