The Conference Coordinator is a full-time, temporary position that will work collaboratively with and serve as the immediate backup to the Director of Training and Technical Assistance to support the successful management and delivery of HAC’s 2021 National Rural Housing Conference2021 National Rural Housing Conference.
The Community Facilities Housing Specialist helps to enhance the lives of rural residents by increasing access to community facilities (e.g., parks, community centers, public libraries, childcare centers, hospitals, clinic, museums or historic site or other public spaces). The Specialist identifies and engages community stakeholders and provides direct technical assistance to rural organizations that are developing facilities. This includes helping them identify, utilize, and apply for financial resources. such as USDA Community Facilities grants and loans. This a two-year position.
The Housing Assistance Council is seeking a few skilled consultants to support HAC’s capacity building initiatives. We will consider a variety of skill sets and expertise levels based on the identified needs of the beneficiary organizations. Consultants with highly focused skill sets, such as financial management, smart building, public facilities, homeless programs, or microenterprise are encouraged to apply.
