USDA shares plans to speed up 502 direct loan processing
At a meeting on August 9, 2014, with HAC’s executive committee, RHS Administrator Tony Hernandez discussed his plan to speed up the processing of Section 502 direct loans. He offered the following initiatives and timelines to eliminate manual underwriting, promote consistency, improve packager participation by allowing them to submit applications electronically, standardize processing:
