12th Annual Travois Indian Country Housing & Economic Development ConferenceBuilding Healthy Communities
Start Date: September 10, 2012 This year’s theme is “Building Healthy Communities.” Attendees can expect to hear the stories of successful projects: new and rehabilitated homes for tribal members and economic development projects that have provided desperately needed jobs and services in Indian Country. The following components all play a role in building healthy communities and will be explained in detail: the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, New Markets Tax Credit program, asset management/compliance, green building, architectural design, inspections, engineering and environmental services.
