CHDO Skills Workshop: The Tools You Need For Success

The Housing Assistance Council and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Greensboro Field Office invite you to participate in CHDO Skills Workshop: The Tools You Need For Success on June 28-29, 2011 in Greensboro, NC.

This two-day training will provide CHDO staff with skills needed for success in a changing environment that is placing increasing pressure to perform in the HOME program. Make sure your organization has the tools necessary to be a successful housing developer and HOME grantee. Topics will include:

  • CHDO and HOME Program Requirements
  • Redefining the PJ/CHDO Relationship
  • Selecting Good CHDO Projects
  • CHDO Project Implementation, Recordkeeping, and Monitoring, and
  • CHDO Board and Financial Requirements.

This training is being offered through HAC’s Building Rural Communities through CHDOs Initiative.

Due to funding restrictions this training is limited to staff of certified and potential CHDOs in North Carolina. Additionally, participants are required to register in advance for this event.
