The National Rural Housing Conference

The 2025 National Rural Housing Conference took place November 4–7 in Washington, DC, bringing together rural housing leaders, policymakers, and practitioners from across the country.

From association meetings and interest group gatherings to a high-energy welcome reception, the week was filled with meaningful conversations and connection. Attendees participated in dynamic plenary sessions, more than 40 interactive workshops, and networking events that brought together over 700 rural leaders committed to building stronger, more resilient communities.

2023 Conference Spotlight

The 2023 National Rural Housing Conference (NRHC) was a rousing success. From October 24-27, 2023, in Washington, DC, the Conference convened nearly 700 stakeholders in the field of rural affordable housing, community development, and placemaking. Practitioners from local nonprofits, federal agencies, Congress, state and local governments, and other industry leaders gathered for two-and-a-half days of training, networking, and reconnecting to #BuildRural!
