SINGLE FAMILY HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
Start: July 20, 2010 The Housing Assistance Council and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, San Antonio Field Office invite you to participate in Single Family Housing Development on July 20-21, in Laredo, TX. This workshop will provide participants with important information on financing and developing affordable single-family housing. Participants will examine the overall assumptions, risks, procedures, financial considerations, site planning, construction, and development issues inherent to affordable single-family housing development. Equally important to a successfully designed and implemented program is the homebuyer preparation process. This program will cover the issues related to designing and marketing a product that leads to eligible and pre-qualified homebuyer pools. This training is being offered through HAC’s Building Rural Communities through CHDOs Initiative. Due to funding restrictions this training is limited to staff of certified and potential CHDOs in Texas. Additionally, participants are required to register in advance for this event.
