Entrepreneurial Edge – Entrepreneurial Edge, a service of the Edward Lowe Foundation, provides information you can use to grow and improve your business. It offers entrepreneurs a full-text searchable library of over 3,000 articles and book chapters, reviews with links to other content-rich resources, practical how-to training modules, and peer-to-peer interaction.

Ford Foundation – Philanthropic organization working to strengthen democratic values, reduce poverty and injustice, promote international cooperation, and advance human achievement. The site offers guidelines, FAQ’s, and e-mail access for grantseekers, news about Ford’s work, annual reports, a listing of programs, and links.

Foundation Center – Focuses on the art of fundraising for nonprofits, from process to resources. The site provides access to information about the Center (including grant reporting and annual reports) as well as Center publications, libraries, worksheets and forms, funding trend analysis, grantmaker information, and extensive links.

Neighborhood Funders Group – The Neighborhood Funders Group is a national network of grantmakers working to expand support for organizations that help low-income people improve their communities. NFG members rely on each other for fresh enthusiasm, advice on new approaches, and the latest information on grantmaking strategies. In comparing experiences and sharing ideas, our members discover creative ways to strengthen the social and economic fabric of neighborhoods.

Office of the Comptroller of Currency: Rural Community Development Banking Resource Directory – This directory provides descriptions and contact information for a number of organizations and web sites that can provide resources to banks interested in lending, investing, or providing retail financial services in rural communities.

Rural Assistance Center (RAC) – A product of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Rural Initiative, the Rural Assistance Center (RAC) is a rural health and human services “information portal.” RAC helps rural communities and other rural stakeholders access the full range of available programs, funding, and research that can enable them to provide quality health and human services to rural residents. Resources include a Housing & Homelessness Information Guide and funding links. RAC also can provide customized grant searches in The Foundation Center database.

Fannie Mae – Provides information on Fannie Mae’s functions on the secondary mortgage market, as lender and investor, etc. The site enables searches for Fannie Mae portfolio stock in a neighborhood or throughout the 50 states and provides information on Fannie Mae’s stock, products and services, and affordable housing initiatives.

Freddie Mac – Information about Freddie Mac’s work on the secondary mortgage market, consumer information from Freddie Mac publications which describe the value of credit scoring and provide a step-by-step explanation of how to conduct a consumer home inspection, a few of the key forms necessary to do business with Freddie Mac, information on mortgage-backed securities plus annual reports, information statements and supplements, earnings releases, and monthly volume summaries.
