OMB is proposing “grants management common data standards” as a step towards making make management of federal grants results-oriented and consistent across agencies. Comments are due January 15, 2019. The proposed standards are presented as a list of 426 proposed data elements, posted at https://grantsfeedback.cfo.gov/ (under the Give Feedback tab). To make comments, one must register for a GitHub.com account and submit comments in separate boxes for the specific data elements. A three-page users guide does explain there is a way to label a comment box for general comments.
