Some of the most exciting partnerships involve replacement programs, which seek to replace older, substandard manufactured homes with new state-of-the-art units. Gramlich Fellow at Harvard University, will share his research regarding manufactured housing replacement programs. During this session we will examine the following key questions:

  • What model year manufactured homes should be targeted for replacement?
  • How can manufactured home replacement programs be administered and funded?
  • Do manufactured housing replacement programs work best when they include financial subsidies to homeowners?
