House committee approves THUD funding bill
On May 13, 2015, the House Appropriations Committee passed the Transportation-HUD subcommittee’s FY16 appropriations bill without changes to the subcommittee’s HUD spending levels. The committee rejected an amendment to provide $1.06 million for the HOME program without diverting money from the National Housing Trust Fund, offered by Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA).
