Rural Preservation Task Force

A multi-lateral task force recommends new owners and new financing, along with other strategies to save affordable apartments in rural areas. The group released its final report on April 7, 2005, addressing the preservation of rental properties funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Section 515 program, which helps property owners develop rentals for low-income rural residents.
